Our research focuses primarily on the development of original transformations for the preparation of heterocyclic compounds. We are particularly interested in original cycloadditions transformations relying on modern organotransition metal catalysis

We are currently investigating the reactivity of oxyallyl cations towards nucleophilic nitrogenated 1,3-dipoles for the preparation of stereodefined 6-membered ring heterocycles. We recently described the efficient formation of oxazinanones from nitrones and oxyallylcations via the in situ generation of oxyallyl cations. We are currently looking at catalyzed version of this family of transformations.
