We are developing new extensions of Kulinkovich-type reactions, based on transmetallation reactions of polar organometallic species (typically, Grignard or organolithium reagents) with titanium(IV) complexes. Another field of investigations is devoted to the synthesis of cyclopropane systems and the development of transformation reactions of the latter, with the aim to prepare complex nitrogen-containing heterocycles. We are much interested in the total synthesis of natural products as well.
